Frequently asked questionsFlatbed

What is a flatbed and how does it differ from a canopy / hardtop?

A flatbed is a flat aluminium tray that replaces the factory pickup bed. Unlike a canopy or hardtop it has no roof – it is open and built mainly for transporting equipment, barrels, pallets, tool boxes or as a base for further build-up.

Can a flatbed be combined with a canopy or tool boxes?

Yes. We often combine a flatbed with side tool boxes, an equipment rack, a ladder and a 12V installation – depending on the use case.

Which pickup models do you build flatbeds for?

Most often Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, Ford Ranger (Mitsubishi L200 – unavailable). Other models on individual quote.

Is a flatbed road-legal in Poland / does it require registration changes?

Replacing the bed with a flatbed is a structural change – it requires an entry in the registration document. We provide the complete documentation needed for the vehicle inspection station.

Where is the build installed?

The vehicle is received at our facility in Smardzów near Wrocław – production, installation and adjustment are done on-site.
